⁴İpekyolu Devlet Hastanesi, Göz Servisi, Van, Uzm. Dr. A 14-year-old female patient was admitted to our clinic with the complaint of pain in her right eye. Her history revealed a trauma to the right eye caused by a piece of wood. In her physical examination, there was a superonasally located iris cyst in the anterior chamber. There was 1-2 mm scleral scarring between the twelve and one o'clock positions. The anterior wall of the cyst was in contact with the endothelial tissue of the cornea, but there was no corneal scarring. The cyst was perforated with a Nd:YAG laser. There were shrinkage in the cyst and separation from the pupillary borders on the same day. Iris particles were seen on the anterior lens in the area under where the cyst was located. Topical steroid treatment was started, hourly. No secondary pathologies were encountered. Intraocular pressure was measured post-operatively at day 1, the first week, and the third month; all were within normal ranges. There were no visual acuity changes. There was no recurrence in the fourth month follow-up. Keywords : Trauma, iris cyst, Nd:YAG laser
