Acute angle closure is initially treated with topical, oral, and intravenous agents. Laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) are required for eyes after an attack is broken medically. Argon laser peripheral iridoplasty (ALPI) have been suggested as effective procedure to manage eyes with acute angle closure glaucoma. Chronic primary angle closure glaucoma is also treated with drops and LPI to lower the intraocular pressure.
